GS Mark
An electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical product bearing the GS mark indicates that it has been tested and complies with the minimum requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act (a.k.a., GPSG). The GS mark is a licensed mark of the German government, which may only be issued by an accredited product safety testing and certification agency, such as Intertek ETL SEMKO is authorized to issue the GS mark.

Our competence covers a wide spectrum of electrical machines and devices as well as mechanical products.

  • Why GS Marking?
  • GS Mark: A mark of the German state
  • Basic requirements for the GS - mark

  • Regularly field inspection
  • Offences against the GPSG

  • Bauart geprüft
  • North American Approvals
The ETL Listed Mark is evidence of compliance to US and Canadian national standards such as ANSI, CSA, IEC and UL for electrical, medical-technical and gas-fired products. Our effective service enables you a rapid access to the Noth American markets!
    Bauart geprüft
In special cases the processing of GS-marking is impossible or it doesn't meet the customers requirements. If so we can realize adequate testing for a wide range of products according to the national and international standards. As outcome after successful testing we grant the "Bauart geprüft"-mark.
    CE-Marking
We do testing and certification of technical products based on harmonized standards. For the manufacturer these results build the base of a certificate of conformance and a following CE-marking. Therewith our test report about the electrical and mechanical safety of a device or a machine represents a fundamental article of the complete conformancy procedure.
    S-Mark
The S-mark can be granted for nearly all electrotechnical products. But at the same time it also is assigned on single components like switches, plugs, etc. The S mark gives you access to all of Europe. Since 1926 the S-mark has been a symbol of safety. S stands for safety in just about every major European language: Safety, Sicherheit, Seguridad, just to name a few. The S mark is evidence that a product has been tested and approved by Intertek as meeting minimum requirements of prescribed and harmonized European Union standards.

    ENEC-Mark
The testing and certification procedure for the ENEC-mark can presently be carried through for a limited palette of products; those cover lustres and its components, net-devices and smaller output transformers, device switches such as devices of the informationtechnology.
